FRIENDLY ADVICE FOR VISITORS

Manitoba is a very large province, so you probably won't have time to see everything in one trip. Fifty-one Snoman member snowmobile clubs maintain over 12,000 kilometers of varied trail. While riding in Manitoba one can expect to see both aspen and evergreen forests, vast expanses of farmland and lakes, granite outcrops and an abundance of wildlife. We suggest you pick a region or preplan a route that fits with your allotted vacation time and personal riding style.

Always carry emergency/repair kit(s) when touring.

Manitoba's weather conditions can vary from the occasional period of above freezing temperatures to -30C, so dress (in layers) accordingly.

Opening and closing of snowmobile trails in Manitoba can also be varied depending on the snow and ice conditions.

Always phone ahead to check both weather and trail conditions. The best place to check is with the local club in the area where you will be riding. They are the ones who actually know the trail conditions.

Snoman member club snowmobile trail conditions can be checked at Trail Conditions on this Website or by phoning 204-940-7533.
